Billy Paul Taylor, of Azle, Texas was born on March 5, 1932, to Walter and Maude (Fisher) Taylor in Hamilton, Texas and passed away peacefully to his eternal home in heaven on December 2, 2021, at the age of 89 years in Fort Worth, Texas.

Billy Paul served in the United States Army.  He enjoyed woodworking and welding. He really loved to hunt and fish. On July 13,1956 in Weatherford, he married the love of his life Beverly. Billy was chairman of Society of Non-Destructive Testing. Also Billy worked JD Babbit shop in Howe, Tx. for 20 years.

Billy Paul is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Taylor; children: daughter, Vicky Louise Waits; son, Michael Paul Taylor; daughter, Pamela Kay Thompson, and husband Scott; grandchildren:  Jeff, Shannon, Sherry, Monica, Matt; and a host of Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends, also survive.

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his father, Walter Taylor; mother, Maude Taylor; brother: Robert Taylor, sisters: Floy "Jubee" Goins, sister: Faye Cook.

The family will welcome visitors beginning Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 2 PM until service time at 3 PM at Groveton Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Services will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 3 PM in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas with Bro. Scott Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
