Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Cook Van, 69 of Austonio, Texas will be held at the First Baptist Church of Crockett on Saturday July 16th at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Keeney Dickenson officiating and Pastor Vernon Nicholas Van assisting. Interment will follow in Porter Springs Cemetery in Porter Springs Community of Crockett, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Crockett.
Betty Jo was born November 7th, 1946 in Smith County, Texas and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, July 11th, 2016 after her courageous battle with Cancer.
She is preceded in death by her parents CL and Helen Holland Cook, her grandparents Lillie Holland, Clara Fieldman and Claud L Cook and her father-in-law Leonard Bruce Van.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert S Van of Austonio; children: Robert S Van, II of Dallas, Vernon Nicholas Van and wife, Angela of Houston, Bonnie Van Miracle and husband, Anthony of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Timothy Cook Van of Midland-Odessa and Leonard Gray Van of Austonio; grandchildren: Janette Van, Haylee Van, Justice Miracle and Esther Miracle; sister: Shirley Ann Morris and husband, Stanley of Humble; brother: Tommy Lee Cook and Judy of Missouri City; mother-in-law: Betty Van; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Bill and Sharon Van; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jim and Margaret Lusby; two cousins: Jim McLendon and Gayle Sheehan. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be her sons.
