Funeral services for Mrs. Beth Stroh, 54 of Groveton, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 with Brother Lewis Jones officiating in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas. Burial will follow in Anderson-Ellis Cemetery in Friday, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday morning beginning at 9:30a.m. at Groveton Funeral Home.
Beth was born October 29th, 1961 in Huntington Beach, California and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father Ralph Milton John Morrison; two brothers Mark and Ron Morrison and a grandson Brandon Martinez.
Beth was known for being outdoors. She loved to spend time on her ranch with her Longhorn Cattle. She would often go to Livestock shows just to look at the Longhorn exhibits. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Stroh is survived by her husband John E. Stroh, Jr. of Groveton; her children: son Shaun V. Hummel, son Mark S. Hummel and wife Misty of Houston and daughter Samantha J. Hummel of Groveton; two grandsons Aiden J. Hummel of Groveton and Mark B. Hummel of Houston; two granddaughters Tatelyn Smith of Houston and Brooke Nichole Martinez of Abilene; mother Patsy Morrison Byrne of Abilene; and brother David Morrison of California and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
