Funeral services for Bessie Mae Tullos of Katy, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home with Rev. Dee Queen officiating. Interment will be in the Flat Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until service time on Monday, April 27, 2015.

Mrs. Tullos was born at Brush Prairie (Thompsonville Community), Texas and died on April 24, 2015 at the age of 97 years. She is preceded in death by husband, Guinn Milam Tullos; father, Joseph Wilson Thompson; sister, Lou Ella Thompson Read; sister, Alberta Jennings; brother, Howard Thompson and brother, Woodrow Thompson.

She was a dedicated wife, Mother and caretaker.

She is survived by son, Bobby Tullos and wife, Helen Tullos; daughter, Mary Sue Armitage; grandchildren, Glennis Lynn Strus, Robert Dane Armitage, James Kirk Armitage; great-grandchildren, Bradley Sherman, Ginny Green, Suzanne Armitage, Ashley Michelle Armitage, Veda Armitage; great-great-grandchildren, Seth Alexander Terro, Luke Sherman, James Sherman, Kaleb Isiah Lopez and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers, Charlie Read, Brad Sherman, Robert Armitage, James Armitage, Jack Clements and Jack Baird.
