Bennie Paul Kendrick, 80, of Plano, Texas, passed away on June 28, 2017 peacefully in his sleep. Bennie was born on August 14, 1936 in Apple Springs, TX.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday July 2, 2017 at Groveton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Saturday July 1, 2017 at Groveton Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Bennett Cemetery.

Bennie is survived by his two children, Kathleen Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick and his wife Denece and his 2 sisters Reba Navarro and Ruth Kyle as well his many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Bennie is preceded in death by his beloved wife Claudette; his parents, B.M. (Gude) and Gladys Kendrick; as well as his brother, Clifford Kendrick and his sisters Jewel Sisk and Mildred Comardo.
