Burness Carroll Hall passed away peacefully on August 15, 2019 in Groveton, TX at the age of 87 years. He was born in Groveton, TX, May 9, 1932, the son of Burness and Ruby Hall. B.C. received his bachelor's from Sam Houston State University and his masters from TCU. He worked for Lockheed Electronics until he retired in 1990. During his career with Lockheed he received numerous awards and recognition for his work on the space shuttle. B.C. also had a passion for ranching, which was a hobby for many years.
Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, Burness and Ruby Hall; wife, Melba Hall and his special friend, Martha Safford. He is survived by his three children: son, Dr. Gregory Hall and wife, Terri Hall of the Woodlands, TX; son, Gerald Hall and wife, Patricia Hall of Groveton, TX; daughter, Robin Hudson and husband, Tom Hudson of Smithville, TX; eight granddaughters; eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends, also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, TX with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, TX.
