Audrey Ray Antley was born in Groveton, Texas on February 20, 1944 the daughter of the late Robert Antley and Myrtle Lee Nichols Antley Chick. She passed away on November 7, 2018 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 74 years.

Audrey was a firm believer in Christ.  She was always willing to share her spiritual journey with anyone who wanted to listen.  She was an extremely hard worker and loved to live life to the fullest. She loved her family and she especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.  She was also known for her food.  She loved to cook and entertain so that she could share her meals with any one who wanted to enjoy the food.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Johnnie Mitcham of Tyler, Texas; her loving children: daughter, Audrey Crawford and husband, Barry of Colorado; son, Billy Ray of Gladewater, Texas; son, Robert Ray, Jr. of Gladewater, Texas; daughter,
Angela Soape and husband, Johnny of Troup, Texas; brother, Bryant Antley of Conroe, Texas; sister, Aileen Duncan of Trinity, Texas; sister, Lois Stout and husband, Gordon of Midlothian, Texas; sister, Joyce Rushing of Conroe, Texas; sister, Judy Chick of Trinity, Texas; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray; her beloved father, Robert Anntley; her beloved mother, Myrtle Chick; brothers, Kenneth Antley, Clell Antley, Billy Jack Antley and Winfred Chick.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Antley officiating. Burial will follow in Chita Cemetery in Chita, Texas.
