Audie Mae (Horn) Standley, of Conroe, formally of Pennington, was born on June 6, 1932, to Rosser Horn and Vera Mae (Gilmore) Horn in Pennington, Texas and passed away peacefully to her eternal home in heaven on January 21, 2022, at the age of 89 years in Conroe, Texas.

Audie loved to play Bingo, artwork, crafts, and visiting with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family. She especially enjoyed making biscuits and pies. Audie loved going outside with the grandchildren and great grandchildren to start a campfire. She was a giver and loved to help others. Audie loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing her story with her journey with Christ.
Audie is survived by her loving sons: Tom, Terry, and Larry Standley and their wives. Brother: Edwin Horn and wife; numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren; and a host of and other relatives, and friends also survive.
Audie is preceded in death by her husband: Paul Standley; parents: Rosser and Vera Horn; brother: Glen Horn; son: Danny Standley; grandson: Jesse Standley.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, at 11:00 am at Bennett Cemetery with Bro. Wade Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers: the family asks that donations be made to Park Manor Nursing Home C/O Nita, Activity Director
