Arthur Adrian May, age 87, of Apple Springs was born on July 2, 1925 to his parents Arthur Clyde May and Ora Mae (Higginbothen) May and passed away on March 1, 2013 in Lufkin, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie May and his brother, Robert Kent May. His survivors include is son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Teresa May, of Apple Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Julie Dee and husband, Bryan Penka, Bryan David May and wife, Araceli May, Justin Keith May and wife, Shae May; great grandchildren, Destanie Sky Bonham, Logan Michael May, Violet Dee May, Chase Legg and Ryan Legg; numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.

Funeral services for Arthur Adrian May will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. James Whittlesey officiating the services. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery.
