Anna Belle Stewart, age 87, of Groveton was born February 23, 1927 and went to be with her Lord and Savior away on July 11, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM with Bro. Lester McAdams officiating. Burial will take place in Bennett Cemetery in Groveton-Centerville, Texas. She will be escorted to her final resting place by pallbearers, Lynn Reynolds, Terry Roe, Tony Kendrick, David Stewart, Brian Truss and Stephen Truss.

Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her parents, John W. Layne and Josephine Shackelford Layne; two brothers, Buck Layne and Henry Layne; and four sisters, Virginia Huddleston, Thelma Ford, Mattie Kimbrough and Louella (Lou) Looney. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Stewart, of Groveton, Texas; son, Layne Stewart, of Groveton, Texas; grandson, Dustin Stewart, of Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Faye Layne, of Snyder, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Steve Stewart and Sally Stewart, of Houston, Texas. Numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.
